Call for Submissions 2010-11 Exhibitions at Touchstones in Nelson
Deadline: March 14th, 2009 – postmarked or e-mailed Touchstones Nelson's galleries offers year round programming featuring solo and group exhibitions (juried by committee and curated by our curators) by regional, national and international artists. No phone calls please. Submissions will be acknowledged via e-mail. A Jury will judicate the selection process.
Submissions should include:
1. Documentation of work
a. A CD with 10-15 images saved as PC compatible .jpg files at 72 dpi.
Each image should be labeled with a number and title.
b. Images list corresponding to images submitted (which includes title, date, medium, dimensions).
2. Proposal
a. A clear and concise description of the proposed exhibition, listing any specific requirements.
b. An Artist Statement relating to the proposed work. Text in excess of 1 page will not be presented to curatorial committee.
3. Current CV
Optional: A stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish your materials to be returned
Documents / text submitted in e-mail should be in word or pdf.
All material must be marked with the name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the applicant.
