The mandate of RCAC is: A. to support and promote our local artists and B. to present a variety of professional artists and disciplines that are diverse, accessible, and demonstrate artistic excellence.

RCAC Background

The RCAC was founded in 1998, by various citizens of Rossland, who recognized the importance of the promotion of arts and culture, for contributing to the value of life in the community. Drawing almost entirely from volunteer effort and support, the council has since become a significant contributor of arts and cultural activities.

Welcome to our website

It is our hope that through it we can provide a place for the community to discover what we are doing, and to provide a platform for local artists and citizens to network, and thus promote and enable the flourishing of art and cultural activities in Rossland.

Members of the RCAC website are able to contribute articles or blog posts, create an online profile, and galleries of images and video. We look forward to your participation!
